Max Legrand :
GUITAR, BASS & PIANO (Rock, Blues, Metal, Jazz...)

I vividly remember sitting in my bedroom over ten years ago, stumbling through the simplest of chord progressions on my father’s old guitar. I didn’t know it then, but every frustrating moment I spent with the instrument would eventually culminate in a skill that now enhances every aspect of my life. But had I not had supportive parents, and an incredibly inspirational teacher, I might not have realized my own latent musical potential. Most people believe that talent is something innate, something you either have or you don't. I couldn’t disagree more. Talent is something cultivated and cared for, like a fragile seedling that eventually becomes a towering oak. I was fortunate enough to have been inspired by my music teacher, so I live to inspire others in the same way. If you have the desire to learn, I will help you achieve your goals.

I've been playing music for a decade, and have taught hundreds of students in two different countries, ranging in ages from six to sixty. I've received lessons and first-hand advice from two of the most legendary guitarists to ever play: Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. I have spent hundreds of hours transcribing guitar solos for every genre, and I am currently writing a "new" type of guitar method book… all in addition to constantly creating my own unique music.

In our lessons we’re going to play your favorite songs, learn music theory in a way that’s easy to understand, and I’m going to show you something most other teachers won't: how to be creative and write your own music. The best part? You're going to have a lot of fun too!
